Job summary

Beacon Mobility's Van Pool Transportation unit seeks a School Van Monitor in Mansfield, MA. This part-time role offers 20–25 hours per week and pay of $18.53 per hour, with structured early-morning and mid-day shifts to support students on their routes.

You will help children enter and exit the vehicle, ensure seat belts are fastened, and monitor behavior while communicating effectively with staff, parents, and students. Training is provided and equal opportunity employment is guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass CORI/SORI background checks and drug screens.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist students entering/exiting the vehicle and secure them with belts.
• Monitor student behavior and report any unsafe actions to management.
• Communicate clearly with students, parents, teachers, and staff using the company radio system.
• Demonstrate ability to work with school-age children, including those with special needs.
