Job summary

Van Pool Transportation LLC in Mansfield, MA is seeking a School Van Monitor to help transport students safely to school.

The role offers 20-25 hours per week at $18.53 per hour, with split shifts 5:30am-9:00am and 1:00pm-5:00pm, plus a 401(k) plan, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, and paid training.

You must be at least 18, pass CORI/SORI/background checks and a drug screen, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Age 18+.
• Ability to pass CORI/SORI background checks and drug screen.
• Effective English communication (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Safely assist students entering/exiting the vehicle and secure them in seats.
• Monitor student behavior and provide guidance; report unsafe behavior to management and follow directions.
• Communicate effectively in English with students, parents, teachers, and Van Pool staff.
• Use Van Pool two-way radio to coordinate with staff.
