Qualifications

• High School diploma; preference given to those having a minimum of two years college.
• Valid current Pennsylvania state driver's license must be maintained at all times.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Obeys all traffic laws pertaining to school vehicles.
• Observes all mandatory safety regulations for buses including child safety equipment.
• Maintains discipline when students are on the bus.
• Reports disciplinary issues and concerns to the proper authority.
• Checks van before each operation for mechanical defects.
