Qualifications

• Driver's license and other permits as required; No CDL.
• Ability to work early morning hours.
• Must work without direct supervision and maintain professional attitude.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Drive a regular route as a regular, spare or charter driver and ensure safe operation.
• Read street signs, route sheets and maps.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the van, including child checks.
• Assist students during loading and unloading.
• Cooperate and communicate with school personnel, parents and students.
• Attend safety and training meetings.
• Conduct emergency evacuation from the van if needed.
• Keep the van clean inside and out; sweep and wipe windows.
• Support safe student management and route execution.
