Southeastern Massachusetts Educational Collaborative in Dartmouth, MA is seeking a 7d Van Driver for a part-time, school-year role with a 5-week summer program. You will transport and assist students in vans (7-15 seats), including wheelchair accessibility, and support mobility needs.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and 7d license (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Must have Massachusetts driver’s license and 7d license (or ability to obtain).
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; experience with students with disabilities is a plus.
• CORI, SAFIS, and driving history checks required for all positions.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and assist students in vans (7–15 passengers), including wheelchair van operation.
• Perform daily safety checks and maintain vehicle logs and maintenance forms.
• Assist students with mobility, entry/exit, and securing wheelchairs as needed.
• Conduct routine vehicle cleaning and report incidents or emergencies promptly.
