Job description

Job Title: Driver

This position is identified as a safety-sensitive position responsible for transporting students, clients, and passengers using a company vehicle. The driver may assist passengers in boarding or exiting the vehicle and must adhere to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive multi-passenger vans to transport students, clients with disabilities, and passengers to predetermined locations, including school, summer camps, and other destinations.
• Comply with traffic regulations and follow safety protocols during boarding, exiting, and crossing streets at bus stops.
• Maintain schedules by picking up and dropping off at designated locations.
• Read maps and follow geographic instructions.
• Regulate vehicle systems for passenger comfort and keep the interior clean.
• Maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures and ensure passenger safety.
• Prepare reports on trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and hours worked.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director.
