Student Transportation Of America is seeking a Non-CDL Transportation Specialist bus driver in Danbury, CT. Under supervision, you operate a van or bus on designated routes transporting school pupils or clients to and from locations, including private charter trips.
Responsibilities include daily route driving, pre/post-trip safety inspections, student supervision, maintaining order, and accurate reporting.
A Non-CDL Transportation Specialist bus driver is a person who, under the supervision of a manager, supervisor, or dispatcher, operates a van or bus over designated routes transporting school pupils, or clients to and from school or other locations. In addition, a bus driver may transport clients on private charter trips. Bus drivers may work with loud and disruptive clients. Drivers will be transporting students with disabilities.
