Job summary

Tri County Transportation is seeking a part-time School Van Driver to transport students to and from the Cambria Heights School District. You will drive a school van on morning and afternoon routes, performing pre-trip inspections and ensuring DOT compliance while maintaining a safe, orderly vehicle. No CDL is required and paid training is provided.

Typical day runs about 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable, on-time, capable of supervising students.
• Ability to pass MVR, background checks, clearances, a DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van on a set route, morning and afternoon, transporting students.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain safety on the vehicle.
• Assist with field trips or special runs as needed (paid at activity rate).
