Responsibilities

• Perform monthly safety inspections of all fleet vehicles as mandated by NCDPI and the Fleet Manual.
• Complete scheduled maintenance on time and submit paperwork daily.
• Repair and maintenance of school buses and related fleet/equipment, roadside and onsite.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, electrical, fuel, transmissions, A/C, differentials, and DEF systems.
• Travel for training and be available for road calls after hours.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace including the service truck and garage.
