Job summary

Clover School District is seeking safety-minded individuals to join its school traffic control team. This part-time role involves 1-2 hour morning and afternoon shifts on school days, directing vehicles to minimize wait times for buses and parent traffic.

Responsibilities include managing traffic patterns, placing and moving signs, and maintaining courteous service in all weather. Successful candidates must pass drug screening and background checks and adhere to district policies.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must stand for long periods and be able to raise signs/flags.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (wind, rain, cold, snow, heat).
• Ability to direct traffic and manage buses/parent vehicles at school entrances/exits.
• 180 Days; Salary based on district Salary Scale for Bus Driver.

Responsibilities

• Assess and maintain traffic patterns in the assigned work location.
• Direct movement of traffic through school entrances/exits using signs and hand signals.
• Manage placement and movement of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
• Be kind and courteous to travelers and pedestrians.
• Be punctual and consistent in scheduled duty times and attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned as needed.
