Job summary

Clover School District is looking for safety-conscious individuals to join our school traffic control team. This is a part-time role with 1–2 hour shifts in the morning and afternoon on school days.

Traffic Controllers direct vehicles, manage signs and barriers, and ensure smooth entry/exit at school locations in all weather conditions. Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Willingness to stand in road/highway areas to direct traffic.
• Commitment to attendance and punctuality.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Ability to stand for long periods and raise signs/flags.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and maintain traffic patterns at assigned schools.
• Direct movement of traffic using signs and signals.
• Set up and dismantle traffic control devices (signs, barricades, cones).
• Be courteous to the traveling public.
• Maintain scheduled times and attendance.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
