Job summary

Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City School District is seeking a Breakfast Monitor to supervise students during breakfast, ensure safety, and support morning routines at the building level.

The role requires basic math for food sales, adherence to NSLP guidelines, and maintaining orderly breakfast areas. Prior experience with children is preferred, and the position is part-time with a fixed daily commitment.

Qualifications

0.5 hrs./day

175 days plus contracted holidays

Base pay rate: $ 15.79/hour

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to do basic monetary mathematical calculations.
• Such additional qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and necessary under law. Such additional qualifications shall not be arbitrary or capricious.

Specific Responsibilities

• Ability to use school software and technology to process and account for a food sale.
• Ability to adhere to guidelines of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
• Maintain student conduct, building policies, and procedures as outlined in the student handbook.
• Maintain cleanliness of supervised areas.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and/or designee.
