Job summary

Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City School District is seeking a Noon Monitor paraprofessional to supervise students and support their needs during lunch periods. This 2.5 hours per day position runs for 181 days plus contracted holidays, with a base pay rate of $15.79 per hour.

The role reports to the Building Principal and/or designee and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience with children preferred and basic monetary calculation ability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to perform basic monetary calculations.
• Such additional qualifications may be deemed appropriate by the Board under law.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide for the needs of students.
• Adhere to National School Lunch Program guidelines and manage food sales.
• Maintain student conduct and building policies as outlined in the student handbook.
• Maintain cleanliness of supervised areas.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and/or designee.
