Job summary

GUARDIAN SELECTION LIMITED in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking a passionate Sports Coach to support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing. The role involves classroom-based support with potential to deliver PE sessions and assist pupils through 1:1 and small-group activities.

You will use sport to promote positive behaviour, teamwork and engagement in education, working with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to support pupils with diverse needs in a school setting.
• Experience delivering or assisting with PE/sport activities is preferred.
• DBS check via Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom-based support to pupils across year groups.
• Assist with learning activities, classroom organisation and pupil engagement.
• Deliver or assist with PE and sporting activities where appropriate.
• Support pupils on 1:1 and small-group bases, including those with SEND/SEMH.
