Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support a preschool classroom in Thornton, CO. The role is on-site, providing direct therapy to PreK students, including non-verbal children, with a focus on individualized treatment plans and collaboration with teachers and families.

The contract runs through May 21, 2027, with a 37.5-hour week at one site. Colorado licensure (CCC or CF) is preferred; district credentialing is required prior to start.

Qualifications

• Current, active Colorado SLP license required.
• Open to CCC or CF status.
• Previous PreK experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting non-verbal children is a distinct advantage.
• Must complete district credentialing and contractor packet prior to start date.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschool-aged students, tailoring strategies to a diverse range of needs.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, and families to promote progress and generalization of communication skills.
• Monitor and document student progress and maintain timely records per school policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and multidisciplinary team discussions as required.
• Offer guidance on augmentative and alternative communication methods as appropriate.
