Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support middle school learners in a split-site setting in Minnesota. This 1.0 FTE contract runs from September 8, 2026 through June 10, 2027, averaging 37.5 hours per week, with a schedule designed to promote collaboration and professional autonomy.

You will conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP-aligned treatment plans, and provide direct and consultative therapy while collaborating with teachers, families, and school

Qualifications

  • Active Minnesota SLP license and professional certification required.
  • SLP-CCC and school-based experience preferred.
  • Strong IEP development and progress monitoring skills.
  • Ability to provide direct and consultative therapy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with middle school learners is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.
  • Maintain documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Serve as a resource for staff on speech/language concerns.
  • Travel between split sites within the school area.

Job description

Key Qualifications:
  • Active Minnesota SLP License and Professional Certification required
  • SLP-CCC and school-based SLP experience highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Demonstrated ability to provide direct and consultative therapy services
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with middle school-aged learners a plus
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective speech and language therapy to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students educational progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Serve as a resource for staff on speech/language concerns and classroom strategies
  • Travel between split sites as assigned within the school area
