Job summary

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a Maryland school for the 2026-2027 year.

The role involves in-person therapy for a caseload of 55 students, completing evaluations and eligibility reports, developing and executing targeted treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers, families and the school team in IEP meetings. Work is onsite 35 hours per week, with an additional SLP teammate for support and a strong, student-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong evaluation, development, and implementation of IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language therapy in-person for a caseload of 55 students.
• Complete evaluations and write comprehensive reports for eligibility and progress.
• Develop and execute effective treatment plans targeting each learner’s goals.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with IEPh requirements.
• Consult with educators and families for best practices supporting student communication.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the school team.

Desired Background and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong skills in evaluation, development, and implementation of IEPs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Compassionate, innovative, and adaptable approach to student needs
