ProCare Therapy is seeking a contract speech-language pathologist to support K-12 students in the Denton, MD area. The position is on-site with a diverse educational community, including a high school self-contained classroom serving students with moderate to severe needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students based on IEPs.
• Perform evaluations, maintain documentation, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and administrators.
• Travel to multiple district schools as needed.
• Support students with a variety of communication challenges in both mainstream and specialized classrooms.
• Complete all required reports and compliance paperwork.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Maryland SLP license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Maryland school-based experience highly valued
• Comfortable working onsite and traveling between multiple school sites
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Dedicated to serving a range of student abilities, including those in self-contained settings
