Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to cover maternity leave at a middle school in Georgia. This full-time contract role involves delivering direct and consultative speech-language services, conducting screenings, assessments, and collaborating with a school-based team to support student progress.

The position runs through October 27, 2026, with opportunity to build rapport with students and contribute to IEP development.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
  • CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates considered.
  • Experience in a school-based setting, ideally middle school.
  • Ability to collaborate with educators and families.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

Job description

Step into a dynamic middle school environment, providing essential speech-language services for students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, with preference for middle school experience
  • Strong communication and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students in a supportive classroom setting

  • Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for communication disorders within the school
