Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a of Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment in the North Highlands, CA school setting. The role involves evaluating students and delivering therapy services per the care plan and physician orders, with 40 hours per week.

Requirements include active SLP licensure in the assignment state; CCC-SLP preferred and may be contractually required. CPR, health certificate and TB screening may be needed.

School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Setting: Schools | Job Type: Travel | Pay: $3652 / Week | Hours: 40.00 | Location: North Highlands, CA

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
