Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a school setting in La Center, Washington. This contract–part time role involves evaluating students and delivering therapy per individualized plans and physician orders.

The ideal candidate holds active SLP licensure in the state, CCC-SLP is preferred or may be required by state/contract, and may include health and professional certifications. We offer weekly pay and benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Must meet professional standards and health requirements (CPR, TB/PPD or chest x-ray).

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
