Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment in Tonopah, AZ. You will evaluate students and deliver and document therapy services according to individualized plans and physician orders.

The position requires active AZ licensure; CCC-SLP is preferred or may be required by state/contract. Benefits include weekly pay and comprehensive insurance options.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Meets all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
