Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing invites applications for a School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Springfield, TN. The position is a contract—full-time role within the school setting, with a pay rate of $60 per hour and a 37.50 hour work week.

The SLP will evaluate students and deliver and document therapy services according to the individualized plan of care and applicable orders. Licensure in the state is required; CCC-SLP is preferred or may be required by state/contract.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP preferred or may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulations.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting isresponsible for performing student evaluations as well as providinganddocumenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed foreach individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
