Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student goals and integrate services within the educational environment.
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports for each student on your caseload.
  • Deliver therapy services individually and in small groups according to IEPs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on communication goals and strategies.

Job description

Make a meaningful impact as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting middle school students in grades 6-8. This on-site, full-time contract role starts as soon as possible and extends through late May, offering you the opportunity to work closely with a single school for consistency and relationship-building. The caseload consists of 60 to 65 students, focusing your expertise while fostering lasting developmental progress.

Key Qualifications:
  • Active Florida State License
  • SLP-CCC credential via ASHA
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences & Disorders, or a related field
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Ability to complete required district background check, fingerprinting, and credentialing in a timely manner
What You'll Do:
