Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in the school setting. The role includes evaluating students and planning therapy according to physician orders.

You will document progress and therapy outcomes, coordinate with educators and families, and ensure compliance with state licensure and district policies. This position emphasizes meaningful, collaborative clinical work.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations in the school setting.
• Provide and document therapy services in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders.
