Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate students and provide therapy in a school setting. You will document progress and ensure services align with each student’s plan of care and physician orders.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred or may be required by state/contract.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations and document therapy services in accordance with the plan of care.
• Provide therapy services as prescribed by physician orders and plan of care.
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to professional standards and practices.
