Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services. You will evaluate students and deliver therapy according to the plan of care and orders, documenting progress and outcomes to ensure quality care.

The role requires active SLP licensure in the state and may require CCC-SLP depending on contract. Compliance with professional standards and safety screenings is essential.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as an SLP is required.
• CCC-SLP credential preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR certification where applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations.
• Provide and document therapy services per plan of care and physician orders.
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory and district requirements.
