Role Overview: A full-time School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides speech and language therapy services within a school setting. Responsibilities include conducting screenings and evaluations, developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), delivering therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders, and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The role involves participating in IEP meetings, maintaining student records, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications & Skills: Candidates should hold a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field, possess a valid state SLP license, and have a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in schools or pediatrics, strong knowledge of speech and language development and assessment tools, and excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Supervision is available for Clinical Fellows.
