Job description

Role:

School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing comprehensive speech and language services in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), deliver direct therapy in individual and group settings, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support students' academic and social development, and provide training on integrating speech therapy strategies into classrooms.

Qualifications & Skills:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field, valid state license, and preferably a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Prior experience in schools, early childhood, or pediatrics is preferred. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain accurate, confidential records.
