Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
  • Current, active SLP-CCC certification.
  • Minnesota licensure or eligible for licensure.
  • School-based experience strongly preferred.
  • Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech/language disorders.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and document progress.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide direct intervention services individually and in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to align therapy with educational goals.
  • Maintain detailed and timely records of student services and progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for students’ language needs.
  • Adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning environments and student backgrounds.
