Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, full-year contract near Aurora, CO. You will work under the supervision of an on-staff SLP and support K-8 students with speech-language services.

The role involves implementing treatment plans, collecting data, reporting progress, and collaborating with teachers, families, and staff to promote student communication skills. Compensation ranges from $36.18 to $51.18 per hour, with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• SLPA licensure/certification required for school work.
• Experience or training as an SLPA in K-8 settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent communication disorders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language services to K-8 students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Implement treatment plans, exercises, and activities designated by the SLP.
• Assist with screening, data collection, and progress monitoring for individual students and caseloads.
• Document and report student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school/state requirements.
• Foster a supportive and respectful environment addressing students' communication needs.
• Participate in team meetings with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student outcomes.
