Job summary

Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work and current Tennessee School Social Worker license; LMSW or LCSW preferred.
Candidates may be eligible for licensure via approved educator preparation provider or out-of-state license.
Must be willing to obtain Tennessee school social work licensure by start date if not currently licensed.

Responsibilities

Provide mental health counseling to individuals and groups.
Provide case management and wrap-around services to students and families.
Work with McKinney-Vento liaison to identify eligible students and provide ongoing wrap-around services.
Educate staff on academic barriers such as homelessness, transportation, nutrition, etc.
