Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate School Social Worker to support students, families, and school teams in Fountain, CO. This full‑time, full‑year role involves ensuring student well‑being, removing learning barriers, and collaborating with staff to plan interventions.

You will provide counseling, participate in IEP meetings, connect families with community resources, and help with attendance and behavior strategies while maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Valid CO state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker.
• CDE credential.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students in need of support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to improve student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
• Connect families with community resources and support services
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Support attendance improvement and behavioral intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
