Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Preferred: Master's in Social Work with a valid Georgia certificate.
• Provisional SSW certificate accepted.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school personnel, families and students to identify and implement intervention strategies addressing behavioral, academic, health, attendance or family issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Educator and Social Work ethics and district policies.
• Collect data and prepare reports for local, state, federal agencies and grants.
• Serve as liaison between schools, home and community agencies and services.
• Provide counseling for individuals, small groups, and classes.
