Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff to assess students' academic, mental and emotional health and plan for success.
• Work with students/parents to address social, emotional, or physical needs affecting attendance and performance.
• Conduct home visits to inform student support and meet family needs; share findings for planning.
• Provide casework services to students and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with health and welfare agencies and community services to support students.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work

Master's degree preferred

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred

Pupil Personnel Services Credential

1 year field experience in school social work
