Staff Today Inc. seeks a dedicated Social Worker in Thornton, CO to provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to students. You will assess needs and develop intervention plans, deliver individual and group counseling, and collaborate with teachers, parents, counselors, and administrators to monitor progress.

Role includes crisis intervention, documentation, and connecting families with community resources. Requires CO license and 1+ year experience; SPED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CO license/certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Social Worker.
• SPED experience preferred.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to students.
• Assess student needs and develop appropriate support and intervention plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling or social work services.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, counselors, and school administrators.
• Monitor student progress and provide ongoing support as needed.
• Connect students and families with community and social service resources.
• Assist with crisis intervention and student support during challenging situations.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation.
• Advocate for students and promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment.
