Job description

Step into an impactful role serving high school students by supporting their mental health and special education needs. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential services as an on-site social worker for a local high school. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 21, 2027, you'll be working 37.5 hours weekly at one assigned campus, collaborating with dedicated faculty to positively influence student well-being.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active Colorado Department of Education Special Services License with a Social Worker Endorsement
  • Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with high school students
  • Experience supporting IEPs and providing mental health services; SPED experience highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to serve students with mild to moderate, Affective Needs, and Significant Support Needs
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing caseloads and service minute requirements across individual schools
  • Must complete district credentialing processes prior to assignment start
