Job summary

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Social Work with state licensure as a school social worker and be able to work effectively with school teams, teachers, and community partners to promote student

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a school social worker.
• Temporary or full approval as a social worker.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to students, such as counseling, crisis intervention, and group work.
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with school personnel to develop and implement programs that promote a positive school climate and student success.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies to address student needs and concerns.
• Provide support and education to families on issues including parenting skills, communication, and community resources.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress.
• Participate in school-based teams and committees to address student needs and promote school-wide initiatives.
