Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work required.
• Minimum of two years experience in social work or related field with families and children.
• Experience working with ethnically diverse urban population.
• Must meet Arizona School Safety Program Grant eligibility requirements and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provides short-term individual and small group counseling.
• Provides direct social work services to children and families and coordinates with agencies.
• Develops prevention curriculum and supports Social Emotional Learning, bullying prevention, and drug prevention.
• Collaborates with teachers, administrators and community resources; provides consultation to staff.
• Participates in crisis intervention services and leads referrals to appropriate agencies.
• Serves as the 504 coordinator for assigned schools.
• Maintains professional documentation and ensures timely reporting for grant compliance.
• Adheres to policies and ethical standards; maintains professional demeanor and communication.
