Job summary

Tucson Unified School District is hiring a Social Worker to support students whose social, emotional, and family challenges affect learning. You will assess needs and coordinate interventions with school, family, and community resources.

Requirements include an active LCSW in Arizona, a Master’s in Social Work from an accredited program, AHCCCS provider status, and reliable transportation. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred. Flexible hours and multiple site placement available.

Qualifications

• Current LCSW license issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health.
• Master's in social work from an accredited program.
• AHCCCS Provider status.
• Dependable transportation and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• The Social Worker serves the student whose social, emotional, and/or family problems interfere with learning.
• Professionally assesses the problem(s) to provide and refer for interventions involving school, family, and/or community resources.
• Collaborates with school staff and community resources to remove barriers to learning.
