Job summary

RCM Health Care Services seeks a School Social Worker in Ann Arbor, MI for an onsite school setting. The role provides emotional, behavioral, and mental health support to help students access the general education curriculum and participate fully in learning.

You will work with MET and IEP teams, apply MTSS and CASEL frameworks, and respond to crises while collaborating with families and schools. This hourly contract demands 35 hours per week and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in social work.
• Licensed MSW through the Michigan Dept. of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
• Full MI School Social Worker approval.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of Multidisciplinary Evaluation Teams (MET).
• Serve as a member of IEP teams and plan goals with IEP team members.
• Communicate effectively with IEP team, district, and community.
• Provide instruction, modeling, and coaching in behavior strategies.
• Coordinate services with schools, families, and community agencies.
• Develop functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop threat response plans.
• Engage in crisis response as a Student Response Team member.
