Qualifications

• Active Michigan Social Work license.
• Department of Education approval for school social work in Michigan.
• Experience working with children, elementary through middle school age.
• Strong background supporting students with significant behavioral or social-emotional needs.
• Familiarity with small group and individual therapy in a school environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and consultation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct social work and mental health services to students, both individually and in small groups.
• Address behavioral challenges through evidence-based strategies and supports.
• Work with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans.
