Ideal candidates are experienced in social‑emotional development, intervention protocols, and community resource coordination to support diverse learners.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct interviews, observations, and informal assessments to identify student needs
• Provide individual and group counseling to support social‑emotional growth
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to design and evaluate interventions
• Serve on problem‑solving and MTSS/RTI teams to implement early supports
• Connect families to community resources and support systems
• Complete IEP documentation, progress reports, and intervention data collection
• Facilitate school‑wide initiatives to promote safe and inclusive environments

Experience You’ll Need

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field (MSW preferred)
• Valid Michigan Social Work license or eligibility for school social work credential
• Experience with individual/group counseling and school‑based interventions
• Strong verbal/written skills, and ability to engage with families and diverse populations
• Familiarity with MTSS/RTI frameworks, crisis support, and community service linkage
