Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Social Worker II to provide casework and counseling services within schools, addressing personal, emotional, and social challenges that affect student learning. You will link school resources with community services and act as a liaison for trauma and emergencies.

The role involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to support students, coordinate services, and participate in ARD processes when needed. This is a grant-funded, exempt position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work.
• LMSW or LCSW license required.
• Minimum 3 years’ related experience; experience with at‑risk youth preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in some settings.

Responsabilités

• Conducts individual and group counseling sessions to support students’ social development.
• Works with students to improve attendance.
• Performs casework with parents to increase understanding and participation.
• Provides crisis support and counseling to students, parents, and staff.
• Coordinates and integrates school and community resources; refers to community services.
