Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education seeks a School Social Worker to join our Special Education team. You will empower students academically, socially, and emotionally through counseling and collaboration with educators, families, and community partners.

Lead IEP/BIP development, coordinate with district partners, and oversee daily site operations while fostering a supportive school environment. Strong communication and crisis response are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or closely related field.
• Licensed or in process to obtain LCSW/LMSW/SSW credential.
• Ability to obtain company-approved crisis management certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students with social, emotional, or family challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student services and progress.
• Conduct interviews with students, families, and staff to assess needs within school and community contexts.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and home-life changes.
