Amergis is seeking a School Social Worker to join our team in Farmington, ME. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support students through IHP/IEP planning and school-based social work interventions.

The ideal candidate holds a Professional Educator License with SSW endorsement and may be required to have an MSW or LCSW depending on state, contract, or facility. Additional requirements include CPR if applicable, health certification, and meeting all regulatory

Qualifications

• Holds a Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement as required by state, contract and/or facility.
• MSW or LCSW may be required per state, contract or facility.
• Current CPR if applicable; TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable; Health certificate as required by contract/state.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Social Worker collaborates with the multidisciplinary team and provides input in the development of the IHP/IEP for students requiring social work intervention and support in the school setting.
