Edwardsville Community Unit School District 7 Elementary School in Edwardsville, Illinois seeks a School Social Worker to join our team starting January 4, 2027. You will support students through counseling, IEP/504/Collaborative plans, and coordinate with families and community resources to promote academic success.

Qualifications

• Illinois Certification (Type 73 – School Social Worker).

Responsabilités

• Act as a participant in a building Collaborative Team to identify student learning needs and establish supports.
• Provide direct or consultative services as designated in IEP/504/Collaborative Plan.
• Collaborate, develop, and assist in implementation of social stories, visual schedules, behavior contracts.
• Conduct functional analyses of student behavior and plan interventions.
• Crisis intervention as needed.
• Complete Social Developmental Study (SDS) as part of IEP team.
• Present findings and recommendations to building team.
• Consult with staff on student behavior and social skills development.
• Present staff development on topics of expertise.
• Participate in committees and in-services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Administrator.
