Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work is required.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement is required.
• Previous school-based experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
• Support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success.
• Conduct social-developmental assessments and evaluations as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, psychologists, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Develop behavior intervention and support strategies.
• Consult with families and community resources to address student needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress records.
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution when necessary.
• Promote positive school climate and student well-being.
