Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work required.
• Licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a LMSW/LCSW preferred.
• Arizona Department of Education school social work certificate required.
• Experience with students with special needs and diverse populations.
• Experience coordinating school-wide prevention work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students and families.
• Liaise with district, school, and community resources; home visits typical.
• Complete accurate reports, surveys and needs assessments.
• Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in placements and transition of students to appropriate programs.
• Bill for medical reimbursement per licensure where applicable.
• Other social work duties as assigned.
