Job summary

Lionsgate Academy in Shoreview, MN is seeking a School Social Worker to assess students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs and develop IEP goals and supports. The role includes direct/indirect counseling, crisis intervention, and collaboration with families and school staff.

Hours are 7:45a-4:15p with 80 hours PTO; salary ranges from $49,000 to $80,000 per school year depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed School Social Worker or eligible for licensure.
• Experience with middle/high school students or 3-5 years clinical experience.
• Experience with individuals on the autism spectrum and/or with Mental Health.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs and develop IEP goals and individualized supports.
• Provide direct and indirect social work services and counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention, behavior support, and classroom consultation.
• Partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment that strengthens connections between home, school, and the community.
